Suffice it to say I don't miss commuting.

I sit in the morning darkness with the window cracked ever so slightly and listen to the daily occurrence of noise pollution that is the outside world. Irritable, irrational creatures with coffee and shifting eyes careen down shoddily paved canals of doom. In environmental destroying metal monsters, they juxtaposition with the other angry clowns intending to be first to attend the location where they perform meaningless tasks for reasons beyond reasonable comprehension. Each individual will try to justify the necessity of the finite pay they will probably receive, but inside they assure themselves that if they lived on an island, there would be no use for any of the items which the government issue fun tickets will inevitably go towards.
These types of thoughts continually furrow semi-diligent worker's brows as they push through the hours, breaking on occasion to exchange nonsense with the narrowly tolerable, who are fed up with the entirety of the ordeal, and maybe eat or use the undoubtedly unkempt restroom.
After holding back the urge to unleash hell's fury on everyone in the building for a previously agreed upon amount of hours, they each pile back into their steel contraptions and breath deeply before starting off on the harrowing journey back across the city. Just as they thought, the back to back collection of every shape, color, and size is making every second of the movement toward their cave even more unbearable. Although there is absolutely no time restriction on when they must reach thier varied destinations, creatures yell and honk blaring horns at one another, even more than in the morning. A traffalga of sounds and smells combine in the city smog and pour through my slightly cracked window to find me sitting and listening in the evening dark......
